Judge – Ms Sara Kirkman
Thank you for the entry for my first time giving CC’s. It was nice to see some new clumbers to me, it felt good to be back. Presentation was better today than in the past, with no dirty eyes or ears noted. I must comment that I was surprised by the lack of spring of rib, close backend movement and extended length of hock exhibited today. All exhibits demonstrated they were fit for function, especially in the heat of the day of the show.

Lovely young man. Clean dark eyes, deep stop and square muzzle. Moved with drive and in tune with his handler. Great front and rear construction, including tail placement which some didn’t have today. Kept his level topline throughout. if I had to be picky, would like a little more length of body and lost out to my CC winner as I feel he needs to mature in head, one I will watch with interest.

1st | Whissgig Daddy Cool - Sheppard |
Strong masculine dog, with a balanced head. Had length of neck and back, with the right amount of bone. Liked his front angulation and short hocks. I would prefer a better bend of stifle. Just pipped his kennel mate on his overall balanced picture. Needs a little more enthusiasm when moving.
2nd | Whissgig The Bristolian - Sheppard |
I preferred the head and balance of 1st, although this young man seemed to have the enthusiasm on moving. Had depth of chest and bone.

Has developed into a mature clumber, who is not overdone at all. With a lovely balanced profile standing and on the move, looked the picture today. Strong, square head on a long neck. He was one of few with a good spring of rib and demonstrated a good angulation front and rear which allowed him to move with drive and this earned him top honours today.
2nd | Stonielea Just William - Steele |
He came a close second today, lost out to being a fraction shorter in back, not the depth of muzzle and the drive in movement of 1st. Has good length of neck and front angulation. kept his topline standing and on the move.

What a class! I was always taught that puppies can change as they mature and usually should not be considered for top honours unless special, these girls were special today

Similar comments to her brother, but would consider her a little more mature and why she needed to be awarded the CC today. A balanced bitch that has excellent front and rear construction, depth of body with good length of neck. Has a deep stop, depth of muzzle and broad head, but feminine with it. When on it had fantastic movement, but lost out the the BOB as she does not always give her best, had to remind myself that she is still a baby!
2nd | Beskerby Luminescent - Dawson |
She pushed 1st hard today and this was my hardest choice to make. Very similar comments to my winner and fell in love with her head! Reminded me of a classic clumber bitch. Lost out today with front construction, but I’m sure will change places as both 1st and 2nd mature into beautiful young ladies. Will watch both with interest.

Won this class as having a more balanced look standing and on the move. Clean dark eye, with a degree of stop. Had a broad head, but would like a fraction more muzzle to make her square. Is long and well muscled in body.
2nd | Whissgig Comedy of Errors (AI) - Sheppard |
Smaller bitch, which I noted had the best of rear movements today. Had a great front and rear construction, but would like her to have a stronger head to finish the picture.

Sweet feminine head, with dark clean eye. Had length of body, good bone and presented balanced. Lost her topline at times, but moved sympathetically with her handler.
2nd | Tweedsmuir Pinotage Rose |
A bitch with everything up front, had a feminine head and good front construction. Didn’t have the movement of 1st.

Mature bitch, that appeals in outline, especially when freestanding. Has a balanced, strong head on a good length of neck. She has good front and rear construction, and angulation which was apparent in her driving movement. Good depth of chest and well off for bone. She spoilt her chances especially in the challenge, as she appeared to not like being stacked, she tucked her bottom underneath her and this distracted my eye.
2nd | Winhampton Oops A Daisy - Wilson |
A balanced bitch in outline, lovely feminine head on a good length of neck. Good front and rear construction and well off for bone. She just didn’t have any interest in moving today, despite the efforts of her handler.
