Request For Nominations For Clumber Spaniel Club Chairperson

Dear Members

At the Annual General Meeting held on Sunday 1st April it was announced that the position of Chair of the Club was vacant because no nominations had been received.

It was the view of the members present that a new ballot process should be undertaken to allow the membership to elect a Chairperson. A timetable has been drawn up so that there will be a Chairperson in place for the first full meeting of the main committee:

Monday 16th April 2018     Deadline for receipt of nomination forms (link to form below) and supporting statements.

Friday 4th May 2018          Deadline for return of ballot papers.

Sunday 6th May 2018        Committee Meeting.

Nominees for Chairperson must be fully paid up Members of the Clumber Spaniel Club for a period of not less than five years and must sign to accept the nomination. All nominations must be proposed and seconded by fully paid up Members of the Clumber Spaniel Club.

Forms (link below) should be accompanied with a supporting statement from the nominee which will be printed on the ballot form. Nominees are requested to limit their statement to approximately 200 words.

All nomination forms and supporting CVs must be received by the Hon Secretary no later than Monday 16th April 2018 and should either be sent to Mrs E King, 57 Elliott Drive, Inkersall, Chesterfield, S43 3DZ or e-mailed to secretary@clumberspanielclub.org.uk in a Word document format please.
